The time has come! "Back to School"

Dear Church Family, The time has come my friends. Students are opening brand new school supplies and school busses are traveling around town, while structure and routine have returned into the lives of our sweet little ones...it’s back to school for our UHBC Kids. I love this time of year and everything it brings; the concept of newness, hope for the future, and simply a fresh and clean start. Luckily for Christ followers, we can live in that newness each and everyday. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” -2 Corinthians 5:17 A new school year brings a new Children’s Church session. We are so fortunate to have willing volunteers to give of their time AND their worship experience several Sunday’s throughout each session we provide. Without these faithful volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to customize children’s learning and understanding the Bible on their level. Please be in prayer for these wonderful volunteers as they teach our children to love God more and to pursue a relationship with Jesus. A huge thank you and appreciation to... Amy Sherrill, Heather Twibell, Mark and Linda Herr, and Susan Ang with youth volunteer helpers: Lucy Chisholm, Genevieve Young, Matt Chisholm, and Ellie Inmon. Children’s Church starts back up for the fall semester this Sunday, August 27th. All children Kindergarten through 5th grade can follow me to the third floor, where parents can pick up their kiddo in The Treehouse when service has ended. Let us be mindful of the newness we have in Christ each day and use that refreshing start to bring others to know Him better. Because of Christ, Abby Hathcock Children’s Minister
