Dr. Daniel Chisholm, Senior Pastor

Dr. Chisholm began serving as senior pastor of UHBC on June 1, 2007. He received Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has previously served as pastor of churches in Tennessee and Mississippi. Dr. Chisholm and his wife Lori have three wonderful children: Cally, Lucy and Matt.
Rev. Cory Goode, Associate Pastor w/ Student Emphasis

Cory Goode joined the staff of UHBC in September 2007. Cory has held student ministry positions in Tennessee and Alabama and now relates primarily to our youth and college students. He holds degrees from Ouachita Baptist University and Beeson Divinity School and was ordained to the ministry in 2006. Cory and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of twin sons Will and Sam and daughter Gentry.
Janet Hill, Minister to Families

Janet has been on staff at University Heights since 2001. She received her B.S. from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. Janet has completed partial work on her M.R.E. degree at Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. She has served on various church staffs since 1978. Janet has also served in several state and national level leadership positions for various aspects of children's ministry. She is married with 2 grown children and one daughter still at home.
Marvin Murphree, Music Minister

Marvin Murphree has served for 27 years as a Minister of Music and Minister of Music and Youth in churches in MO, TX, AR and KS. He holds music degrees from Central Missouri State University and Southwestern Seminary and has done post graduate work at the University of Missouri and Wichita State University. In addition to his duties at University Heights, Marvin is an adjunct professor of voice at Missouri State University in Springfield and Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. He also keeps an active performance schedule. Marvin is married to Marie and they have four daughters and two granddaughters.

Melinda Smashey Jones, Pianist

Melinda Smashey teaches piano and music theory and Southwest Baptist University. She holds the Bachelor of Music degree from Southwest Baptist University and holds Master of Music and Doctor of Music Arts degrees from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Melinda is active as a piano soloist and accompanist and maintains a private studio of pre-college piano students.
Julie Inmon, Organist

Julie Inmon has served University Heights as organist for over 10 years. Additionally, she has served as organist at Temple Baptist Church and First and Calvary Presbyterian Church. A graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Music in organ performance, she also serves as the Children's Choir coordinator overseeing all aspects of the graded choir program. Julie is married to Jeff and they have two children; Landon and Ellie.
