Youth Ministry
The primary goal of the youth ministry at University Heights Baptist Church is to walk alongside teenagers as they grow in their faith, learning to love God and one another. We offer a variety of events and activities in which our students actively participate in worship, ministry, fellowship, and spiritual formation. Our hope is that students will come and be a part of the life and ministry of UHBC.
About Us:
Bible Study - Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Youth Room This time offers youth and adult leaders the opportunity to engage each other in meaningful study and conversation about the Bible, life, and other relevant topics.
Youth Group - Wednesdays in the Youth Room Wednesday nights are a great opportunity to experience the youth ministry at UHBC. Youth Group offers a variety of activities like games, singing, prayer, and Bible study. Our middle school group meets from 5:30-6:15 p.m., and our high school group meets from 6:15-7:00 p.m.
Synergy Youth Choir - Wednesdays from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 205 Led by Marie Murphree, our youth choir provides students to use their voices and creative abilities in the worship of God. The choir rehearses throughout the year and offers a musical performance in the spring.
Missions and Ministry We do our best to put our faith into practice by serving others. From time to time, we go out into our community and do missions work. This is one of the most important things that we do as a youth group. We also spend time learning about the ways in which God is a work around the world during our EnterMission groups each week. High School EnterMission meets on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:15 p.m., and Middle School EnterMission meets from 6:15-7:00 p.m.
Fellowships/Parties/Games We like to have fun together! We try to plan different events that give you an opportunity to have fun while spending time with other youth.

Most importantly, our youth ministry is a place where all youth are welcome.
