This year's theme is "Called to Love". Over the next year, we will be exploring what it means to be called to love and how our lives can reflect that calling. There is no better person to learn how to love fthe call from than the one who called us -- Jesus. In the New Testament, we see practical examples of how He wants us, His disciples, to love. The call of every believer can be summed up in one word -- love. The WMU of University Heights Baptist Church has consistently lead the church in its commitment to mission support. UHBC is committed to the Great Commission of our Lord and strives to educate its membership and to encourage active participation in all phases of missions:

The purpose of all WMU activities is that every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
Women and men are active participants in WMU. Some missions groups are made up of all women and some are mixed genders. Monthly meetings are held in the homes of church members. For additional information about the purposes of WMU, please visit the National WMU Organization Website.
